We are off to a good start. On Tuesday the City of Richmond passed a resolution in support of AB 1400 at the request of HCA – Contra Costa County members. Several nurses who are Richmond residents spoke in support. The City of El Cerrito is scheduled to place a resolution in front of their City Council in June. Here is a LINK to the Richmond resolution
Securing endorsements for the bill is extremely important and well worth the time and effort it may require. Endorsements from city councils, community groups, faith groups, etc., are visible proof to legislators of public support.
