Supporters of guaranteed health care for all in California are enthusiastically invited to take part in twice-weekly phone banking to elect single payer champion Pilar Schiavo to SoCal Assembly District 40.
First step: Please complete the volunteer form. Click on “Phone Banking” to help out on a Tuesday and/or Wednesday evening. A 5 – 5:30 p.m. orientation kicks off the Zoom call, with help available to callers throughout the evening. Peruse Pilar’s campaign website for her story, issues, and endorsers.
Pilar’s June 7 primary race is hotly contested and highly winnable. Volunteers are needed NOW to connect Pilar’s name and message with voters who will be marking mail-in ballots in just a month. The district–and all Californians–need Pilar In Sacramento, where she will use her deep knowledge of healthcare policy and her political experience as an organizer for single payer to build support inside the legislature for the next bill.
