This event has passed. The governor’s Healthy California for All Commission will meet on Zoom on Monday, October 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.The topic of the meeting will be Provider Payments.
The Commission is discussing issues related to the design and financing of universal health care in California. It will issue a report in the coming months on how the state might use “unified financing” to meet the population’s health needs. M4A supporters have been showing up in large numbers for these meetings, focusing attention on the urgent need for a single payer system.
