One Payer States (OPS) brings together advocates from across the country who are working to create state-based single payer systems. The group holds monthly “Office Hours” – educational forums with great guest speakers. The February Office Hours focuses on building support for single payer in the business community. Warren George is a semi-retired management consultant and business analyst. His career has included positions of Director of Primary Operations and Plant Manager for OREMET Titanium in Oregon and Washington. In the summer of 2019, he commissioned an extensive statewide poll of Oregon voters which showed that 62% of Oregon voters had interest in establishing a statewide universal care system, including a majority of business owners and self-employed.
