Welcome to the Sacramento Area Chapter

Welcome to the HCA – Sacramento Area chapter page. We are located around our state Capitol where much of the action takes place and we are part of it! You are invited to join us as we advocate for universal health care for all Californians. Everybody in ~ Nobody out. Location, times, and topics of meetings vary. All welcome! Bring your passion, talents, connections, desire to learn and educate others, and your vision of what it will be like when everyone has equitable access to the high-quality health care they need.

We table at events such as Earth Day, Labor Day, Free Thought Day, and other Sacramento area events. We attend legislative committee hearings and visit legislators’ offices, rally at the Capitol, and join marches across the city.

Our Sacramento Area chapter began with the legendary insider Carolyn Negrete. We are now rebuilding with a new generation of activists.
