HCA/PNHP Humboldt

From behind the Redwood Curtain, in 2016 Health Care for All – Humboldt (HCA-Humboldt) and Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) joined together to function collaboratively as: HCA/PNHP-Humboldt.   We focus on establishing a simplified, unified, publicly administered, nonprofit program so that everyone has equal access to high-quality health care in CA and the nation.  HCA/PNHP Humboldt is always ready to welcome guests, supporters and new members.

We meet the fourth Wednesday of every month.

Activities

• Public Education:  Speakers, newspaper letters and op/eds, demonstrations, door knocking, tabling, films.
• Outreach:  Contacting, speaking to and presenting resolutions to local governmental agencies (county, city, service districts) and other local organizations.
• Fundraising: Our local North Country Fair is our top funding source with its donation-based prize pool event with community solicited prize
• Promoting and working for state and national legislation, meeting with legislators to advance our agenda.
