Removing AI care denials just the first step (1/12/25)

In her letter to the East Bay Times (Alameda/Contra Costa counties), Jonee Grassi says it’s a good thing the California legislature has come down on insurers for using AI to deny healthcare claims. Now it’s time to get rid of the middleman insurers who thought that was a good idea. Dangerous denials will continue one way or another until profit-driven insurers no longer play a role in our healthcare.
